Reginald Headlee Sr.

Reginald "Reg" C. Headlee Sr., 82, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. He was preceded by his wife, Edna Mae Headlee; two sons, Steve and Reginald Headlee Jr.; parents, Ed Vanwinkle and Ruth Snow Heard; brother, Richard Carl Headlee. Survivors are companion Bessie Patterson, Dayton; son, Tommy (Reba) Headlee, both of Dayton; sister, Gladys Jean Gibson, Michigan; two brothers, Warren Thomas Headlee, Dayton, Tommy Vanwinkle, Pikeville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Service at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Jewell and Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Interment in Kuka-Rogers Cemetery.
