John Teague

John Mack Teague, 77, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at his residence. He was a member of Soddy United Methodist Church and served his country in the Tennessee Army National Guard. Mr. Teague retired from DuPont and worked at Frontrunner Athletics after his retirement. He served his community on the Bakewell Utility Commission. Mr. Teague was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tommy Irwin. Survivors include his wife, Judy Breda Teague; sons, Curtis (Melissa) Teague of Kingsport and John (Danielle) Teague of Cedarbluff, Miss., and Chris (Tracy) Teague of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Jimmie Irwin and Suzanne (Paul Ed) Parrott; brother-in-law, Jack (Delores) Harris; grandchildren, Wesley Teague, Courtney Teague and Jacob Teague; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Soddy United Methodist Church.
