Billy Billingsley

Billy Billingsley, 74, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014. He was of the Church of God faith and attended West End Church of God. Billy was an electrician by trade. Some of his favorite hobbies were operating a HAM radio, woodworking, and anything electric. Billy served as Alderman for the City of Pikeville from 1980-81 and served as Mayor from 1984-85. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Billingsley; parents, Malcolm and Ore Wilson; brothers, Jimmy, Bobby, Wendell, and Lowell Billingsley; sister, Phyllis Wilson; and a great-niece, Jera Troglin. Left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Randy (Edith) Billingsley; sisters, Patricia Nail and Anita (Larry) Dillard; grandchildren, Katherine Billingsley, Shon Billingsley, and Arnold Cortez; special nephew, Chris Troglin; special friend, Carl Stewart; sisters-in-law, Elaine and Olga Billingsley; brother-in-law, Clark (Brenda) Troglin; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
