Helen Egli

Helen Jean "Nanny" Egli, 80, left us on Sept. 19, 2014. Helen was born Aug. 5, 1934, at home in Hackensack, N.J. Raised in the north, she became a southerner in 1972 where she and her husband, Dick Egli, raised four successful sons; Scott, Robert, Roger and Russell, in Farragut, Tenn. Helen loved to garden, sit on the beach and play games with her loving grandchildren Jeanne, Nick, Chase, Tori, Tyler and Shafer. Survived by Dick; her sons and daughter-in laws, Scott and Elaine, Robert and Angela, Roger and Jan, and Russell and Wendy; loving friends, Nancy and John Medway; high school best buddy, Edna Oakley; and all her friends and relatives in the north and south. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27, at Click Funeral Home, 145 Chota Centre (Tellico Village), Loudon, Tenn., for a memorial service to celebrate Nannys life.
