James Tipton

James Everett Tipton, 49, of Chattanooga, was taken home to be with the Lord, peacefully, on Monday, July 28, 2014, at his residence. He was a great artist and musician. He was preceded in death by his father, Carson Clinton Tipton Sr. Survivors include his daughter, Sabrina Tipton; grandchildren, Briana, Kayla and Jamell Tipton; mother, Joy Foster; grandmother, Jackie James; brothers, Billy Foster, Carson Tipton Jr. and Buddy Tipton; also Sandra Cordell; nephews and niece, Jason and Sammy Cordell and Michelle Brewer; significant other, Helen Hundley and her grandchildren, Catie, Josh, Alexis Justus; her children, Ashleigh Hundley and Stephen Justus; other relatives and friends. The body will lie in state at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Taylor Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with John R. Taylor Sr. as the eulogist.
