Jeraline Jones

Jeraline T. Jones, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, in a local hospital. She was a member of Mount Canaan Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Jones, and daughter, Elma Stearns. Survivors include daughters, Barbara Jones of Nashville and Samella Jones of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Charles (Kimberly) Stearns Jr. of Nashville and Monica (Terrance) Moton of Chattanooga; six great-grandchildren; cousin, Mary Louise Davis of Chattanooga; several other relatives and friends. Visitation is at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, with the funeral to follow at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Ternae Jordan Sr. as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.
