Lendon Higdon

Oscar Lendon Higdon, 73, passed away Aug. 15, 2015. He was retired from Model Box Company, Chattanooga. He was a lifelong resident of Higdon and member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oval and Gracie Higdon; sisters, Patricia Bryant, Lavita Higdon; brother, Aurther Tinker. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Lou Higdon; daughter, Lisa Denise Easter, Higdon; son, Terry Eugene (Treba) Higdon, Higdon, Ala.; sisters, Dorothy Smith, Earline Pritchett; brothers, Garlton Higdon, Lee Dell Higdon, Lavone "Pan" Higdon, Lebron Higdon; three grandchildren, Jamie Price, Justin Lendon Easter, Terry Lendon Higdon and Mikel Higdon; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. EDT today, Aug. 16, 2015, in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hixon officiating. Interment will follow in Higdon Cemetery.
