Sam Hamrick

Samuel Allen "Sam" Hamrick, 70, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015. Sam was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from Iron Workers Local 704. He was preceded in death by a son, Sammy Hamrick; brothers, Charlie and Ronald; sisters, Norma and Mildred; and his mother, Marie Hamrick. Sam is survived by his wife, Carol Hamrick; two sons, Brent Hamrick and Ashley Hamrick; brother, Don Hamrick; grandchildren, Tyrus, Gavin, Savannah and Layla. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Smith officiating. Visitation is noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
