Rob Bradham, the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce's vice president of public strategies, has been tapped as the new chief executive of the Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce, an official said today.

Chattanooga Chamber CEO Bill Kilbride said plans are to start a search to fill the business group's post, but added that Bradham is prepared for the new job.

"They're getting a great fellow," said Kilbride. Brabham has been at the Chattanooga Chamber since 2010.

Kilbride said Bradham will be at the Chattanooga Chamber until Nov. 6. The Chattanooga Chamber will form a three-person committee to review the job description and the business group will conduct a national search for a replacement, Kilbride said.

In Dalton, Bradham will replace Brian Anderson, who was the president of the Chamber there for six and a half years. He was named president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce in Columbus, Ga.

Bradham came to Chattanooga after serving as senior vice president of business development and government affairs for the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
