A preliminary pathology report has determined that a woman found Saturday on Lookout Mountain died from blunt force trauma to the head, said DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris.

Doug Minor, 32, of Fort Payne, admitted to an investigator that he and two women, Norma Jo Grinnell, 36, and Bobbie Lynn Ross, 35, both of Fort Payne, had been on a 3-4 day meth high and that he struck both women after an argument.

District Attorney Mike O'Dell approved a murder warrant today for Minor in the death of Ross.

Warrants were also issued on Minor for the assault and kidnapping of Grinnell.
