Multiple area outages reported after overnight storms do damage

Heavy rain and strong winds hit the Chattanooga area last night and residents are feeling the effects this morning.

Multiple area outages have been reported throughout the region from Lookout Mountain to Sale Creek in Soddy Daisy, according to EPB's outage map.

There have been reports of power lines and trees down in different areas throughout the region, as residents get ready to start their Monday.
