Chattanooga Freedom Float planned to raise money for heroes in July 16 attack

Outdoor Chattanooga is planning the Chattanooga Freedom Float Aug. 15 in honor of and to raise money for the heroes who were injured and killed in the July 16 attacks.

Participants can put in at the Tennessee Riverpark and float down to the Chattanooga Riverfront, where participants can stay to enjoy the Riverfront Nights free music series, according to a news release.

Outdoor Chattanooga will provide shuttling to get all participants shuttled with their kayaks back to the Riverpark after the event is done, the release said.
