A Philadelphia vireoBirdwatcher from across the state will be gathering in Chattanooga Oct 7-9 for the Tennessee Ornithological Society Fall Symposium.
Become a member and register to attend at www.tnbirds.org. Field trips held Saturday and Sunday morning are likely to include Standifer Gap Marsh, Chattanooga Nature Center, Brainerd Levee, Nickajack Lake and Chester Frost Park. The Honors Golf Course will be offered on Sunday.
The Saturday afternoon symposium at Chattanooga Nature Center will consist of presentations by several speakers on research and conservation issues related to the birds of Tennessee.
