Tennessee astronaut featured in new IMAX film coming to Chattanooga for movie premiere

An astronaut from Tennessee who is featured in the new IMAX film 'A Beautiful Planet 3D' is coming to Chattanooga.

NASA Astronaut Barry Wilmore will be back in his home state for the premiere of the new movie April 29th at the Tennessee Aquarium.

Wilmore was the first astronaut to use new IMAX cameras to capture Earth from space, according to a press release from the Tennessee Aquarium.

The film premieres Friday, April 29 at 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Wilmore will attend the premiere and discuss his role in the film and his experience in space.
