Join the 800 Collective at Neural Alley, 721 Broad St., today, May 18, at 6 p.m. for a journey into Passageways, the 2016 alleyway transformation project by River City Co. and AIA Tennessee.
Josiah Golson, 800 creator, will lead this workshop on foot at which participants will receive art materials and instructions for exploring and creatively capturing the beauty of the art installations. Through the experience, participants will discover and discuss the magic of creative public animation and its place in our everyday lives and communities.
No art skills or supplies are needed to attend. Just bring an open eye and walking shoes as participants will walk to each of the four installations. All Passageways are within a short three-block walk.
The 800 Collective is a diverse artist group that creates artistic experiences reflective of its communities and their social aims.
