Jack Silberman, 34

CEO, Silberman Group; Husband; Father

Mantra: #togetherwebenefit

Quarantine projects: I had four priorities going into quarantine. First, I really wanted to maximize my time with my family. Second, I aimed to be sure that the Silberman Group team had the necessary tools to be successful and safe. Third, I set a goal to speak with as many of my customers as possible to stay in tune with their needs. And fourth, I wanted to stay in shape physically. I can honestly say that so far I’ve been able to meet all four of those goals.

Has the pandemic changed your outlook in any way? It has, for the better! Whether it be tied to health, relationships or finances, the pandemic has created a sense of perspective. Knowing everything can change so quickly – and that so much is outside of our control – has been a sobering yet helpful reminder to focus on the things that really matter. I’ve also learned to keep the pandemic from controlling my attitude. I make the conscious decision every morning when I wake up that I will not let COVID-19 and its influence on the world dictate my perspective.
