Holiday celebrations will overlap this weekend as Rock City continues its St. Patrick's Day festival and Hamilton Place welcomes the Easter Bunny. Here's a look at what to put on your agenda.
* Shamrock City: Rock City will bookend the St. Patrick's Day holiday with the final weekend of Shamrock City on Saturday and Sunday. This Irish celebration features Irish food, specialty beer from Chattanooga Brewing Co., Irish dancing performances, Suffolk sheep, a miniature Scottish Highland cow and High Falls flowing green.
Hours are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $26.95 for adults, $14.95 for children 3-12. Add on $16 for a Shamrock Supper 'n Show, featuring an exclusive Irish menu and Irish band performance by The Molly Maguires on Saturday and Olta on Sunday. Reserve tickets at seerockcity.com.
* Easter Bunny: Hamilton Place will welcome the Easter Bunny for photos starting Friday. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-6 p.m. Sundays through April 3. Reservations are not required but are strongly encouraged as time slots are limited and walk-up visits will be available only as space permits. Northgate Mall will not have a bunny on site, but is offering virtual photos. For $20, you can upload personal images of family, friends and pets, past or present, to appear in the holiday greetings. Find out more at visitnorthgatemall.com.
* "Walls for Women": At 7 p.m. CDT Saturday, Tullahoma-based filmmaker Colin Shuran, 18, will debut his new documentary about a large-scale art project of the same name in which the nonprofit agency DMA-events contracted 14 female artists to paint murals in seven cities across Tennessee as a tribute to the women's suffrage movement.
The global premiere will be screened via an online service. Cost is $12 per household, plus a $3 fee. The film will be available for multiple viewings over five hours. Purchase access through his website, colinshuran.com.
* South Bound Lecture: Local author Rita Lorraine Hubbard will be the next author in this Southern Lit Alliance virtual series at 6 p.m. March 18. Hubbard will discuss her craft and the variety of books she has published, including "African Americans in Chattanooga: A History of Unsung Heroes" and the children's books "The Oldest Student" and "Hammering for Freedom." * Chattanooga Theatre Centre, 400 River St., this weekend will open its first youth production in more than a year, an original adaptation of "The Wind in the Willows" by director Scott Dunlap. Like the book, the play follows the adventures of a group of animal friends in the English countryside.

* Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will present Dvorak's String Serenade at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Signal Crest United Methodist Church, 1005 Ridgeway Ave., Signal Mountain. The performance also will include two works for clarinet and bassoon by Poulenc and Beethoven. Tickets are $25 (only a $10 livestream option is available Thursday). * Chautauqua Lecture Series: The fifth installment of this virtual series presented by the Humanities and Fine Arts Division of Chattanooga State Community College is at 2 p.m. Thursday.
