Curb appeal: The medial sale price of homes in Ooltewah in 2021 was $369,900 according to the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors.


- The 1885 Grill Ooltewah on Bradmore Lane is a southern coastal restaurant that provides a lengthy menu of brunch favorites.

- 4 Corners Cafe on Apison Pike offers an array of coffee and tea choices to pair with breakfast staples and paninis, much of which are vegan friendly.


- Couch's Barbecue on Old Lee Highway is a family-owned restaurant that first opened in 1946 and serves classic barbecue ribs and country cooking with a hometown feel.

- Fat Boy's Roadside Eats on Apison Pike features burritos and burgers as well as a large vegetarian menu.

Ribbon Cutters:

Ooltewah Whistle Stop on Main Street opened in 2021. The vintage-themed diner is best known for its unique milkshakes named after songs from the 1920s to the 1950s. The flatiron building shape is hard to miss, and the inside of the restaurant includes various vintage decor pieces, such as local photos from the early to mid-twentieth century. The restaurant is "reminiscent of and pays homage to the original, historic Ooltewah Depot," according to its website.

Wired Coffee Bar on Main Street is a popular spot for handcrafted coffee, food and free Wi-Fi. Since its grand opening in 2016, the coffee bar has operated as a community space for the Ooltewah and Collegedale area hosting numerous study groups and even catering to weddings.

Shop Talk:

Cambridge Square on Bradmore Lane is a blend of locally-owned restaurants and retailers and is also considered the "downtown" of Ooltewah. With easy access parking and walkability on the square, residents can indulge in multiple shopping and entertainment options to suit personal interests.
