Bo Campbell steps down as Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe football coach

Citing family reasons, Bo Campbell resigned Wednesday after seven seasons as the head football coach at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School.

Campbell finished with a 19-51 record in his time leading the Warriors. He took LFO to the playoffs in 2018, when they finished 7-4, one of just three winning seasons for the program since 2004.

Campbell, in his resignation letter to the LFO administration, stated his desire to spend more time with his family.

"Although I felt very blessed to have been part of this great chapter in LFO Warrior Football, I have always put all the LFO Football family first while trying to balance being there for my own family," Campbell wrote. "I have now come to a point in my life where I need to put my own family first and catch up on some lost time.
