Hundreds of professional wrestlers from all over the world have passed through World Wrestling Entertainment since its inception in 1980. Would you believe Tennessee has produced the most WWE world titles in history? Credit the landslide to Memphis native Ric Flair, who’s earned 16, and Knoxville’s Randy Orton, who has 14. Together, their 30 championships are almost double the closest competition. Massachusetts is the runner-up with John Cena’s 16 world titles. New Hampshire is third with Triple H’s 14, followed by Texas, represented by The Undertaker (seven titles) and Stone Cold Steve Austin (six). Georgia rounds out the Top 5 with Augusta native Hulk Hogan’s 12 titles. To determine the results, the research team at Gambling.com analyzed data from the WWE website on U.S.-born WWE champions, current and retired.
