Here's what the Chattanooga area has to offer this week.
GOOD TO KNOW
Nashville hot chicken may be beloved in Tennessee (and beyond), but it has made a Top 10 list of foods most loathed by dieters — but only because they find it hard to resist. FeastGood.com polled 3,000 dieters across the nation to find out which fast-food dishes they most dislike, based on how hard they are to give up when counting calories. The top picks were Vermont's ice cream, Kentucky's signature fried chicken, Pennsylvania's Philly cheesesteak, Massachusetts' chocolate chip cookies and Illinois' deep-dish pizza. Tennessee's hot chicken placed 10th overall. Alabama polled at 13th for its bacon-wrapped meatloaf, and Georgia's Luther burgers, which substitute glazed doughnuts for the traditional bun, were 32nd on the list.
