Mother's Day (Sunday, May 14, this year) and your mom's birthday (this one you should know) are the two days you should never forget. She won't be mad, of course. Just disappointed. (Which, we all know, is worse than mad.)

It's a 23-year tradition, where moms can enjoy lunch, live music and a selection of unique gifts, including fresh flowers. Spokeswoman Melissa Lail says nearly 200 vendors and eateries will be set up in and around First Horizon Pavilion, 1826 Reggie White Blvd. Entertainment is by Honeybabe at 12:30 p.m. and Strange Curry at 2 p.m. Acura of Chattanooga, a market sponsor, will be giving away shopping totes to hold mom's finds. chattanoogamarket.com
› Stable 41 Farmers Market: This producer-only market is open 1-4 p.m. Sunday at 214 First St. in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Taylor Hutwagner, the city's economic development and events director, says the day will include a chance for children to color a picture or repot a flower to give to mom. Other vendors will offer produce, jams, jellies, eggs, honey, houseplants, soaps and bath balms, artwork and decorative items. "We've got a little bit of everything," she says. › Hunter Museum of American Art: From 2 to 4 p.m., the museum at 10 Bluff View will offer a Sunday Studio, a drop-in art experience where families can create an artwork inspired by pieces in the permanent collection. Regular admission applies ($20 for nonmember adults). huntermuseum.org
› Walker Theatre: Over a nearly 50-year career, guitarist Keb' Mo' — born Kevin Roosevelt Moore in 1951 — has earned five Grammys and 14 Blues Foundation Awards. He'll be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the smaller theater inside Memorial Auditorium, 399 McCallie Ave. Seats are still available, though you may have to sit in the back to let those blues sounds wash over you.
