Vote for Bridge Outdoors

A local after-school adventure program is in the running to win big in a national contest, and it's up to the public to determine the winners with their votes of support. Bridge Outdoors at The Beth, which serves students in Brainerd and South Chattanooga, is a Top 5 finalist in the third annual Land Rover Defender Service Awards. A finalist in the Outdoor Accessibility & Education category, Bridge Outdoors has already won $7,500 to help with programming and is in the running for $25,000 and a Land Rover Defender 130 to help transport students and gear during after-school adventures. Program director Sarah Quattrochi says Bridge Outdoors would use the grand prize to start a mountain biking team, in partnership with White Oak Bicycle Co-Op. You can vote daily through Wednesday at thebeth.org.
