LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- A Gwinnett County man has been accused of killing his wife and then dumping her body behind the Lawrenceville business where he worked.

Local media outlets are reporting that the manager of an oil-change business called police Thursday after noticing a smell behind the store. Officers discovered human remains in a nearby wooded area. Authorities later identified the victim as Yamilet Rodriquez, who was last seen alive Oct. 6.

Police arrested Rodriguez's husband, Fernando Guzman-Perez later that evening. Guzman-Perez, who reported his wife missing on Monday, has been charged with murder.

WSB-TV reports that Guzman-Perez worked at the oil-change business.

Authorities have not said how they believe the victim died. Online jail records do not indicate whether Guzman-Perez has an attorney.
