A man sustained serious injuries in what police say was an attempt to take his life.
47-year-old Leonard Myree was shot once at Circle K on Shallowford Rd. late Friday night, according to a release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
He was shot once and was seriously injured but is expected to survive.
Investigators are working to collect more details.
