Authorities have identified the man whose body was found Saturday afternoon in the 300 block of Highway 153 southbound, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.
Jeffery Randall Harris, 51, was found out of view in the grassy median side of a concrete barrier, according to a previous news release.
Traffic investigators determined the man likely died as a result of being struck by a vehicle.
There are no other details available for release at this time and the incident is being investigated by the Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic Unit.
