Chattanooga police are investigating after a man was shot and killed early Sunday.
Responding to a call of a person shot around 12:19 a.m., police arrived in the 2500 block of East Fifth Avenue and found a man with a gunshot wound, according to a news release. The victim, identified as 34-year-old Stephen Laton Moore, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect information has been released. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Unit Tip Line at 423-643-5100. Callers can remain anonymous.
