The political action committee affiliated with the Hamilton County Education Association released its recommendations for Hamilton County Commission candidates Tuesday. The recommendations, a mix between incumbents and their opponents, come two days before the general election.
The Hamilton County Education Association-Fund for Children and Public Education (HCEA-FCPE) recommended the following candidates in commission races:
- Chip Baker for District 2
- Rosabelle Gorman for District 3
- Warren Mackey for District 4
- Katherlyn Geter for District 5
- David Sharpe for District 6
"After interviewing candidates, we believe those we have recommended will be the strongest advocates for our students, educators and school community," said Giselle Palmer, chairwoman of the HCEA-FCPE, in a statement.
The political action committee also made recommendations in the Hamilton County school board race, released on July 16.
