Chattanooga police responded to reports of shots fired on the 900 block of Dodson Avenue Wednesday afternoon, according to a CPD news release.
Police were unable to find a person shot or spent shell casings on scene, but were later notified that a person had arrived at a local hospital to be treated for a single, non life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm, the release states.

The CPD Major Crimes Bureau is actively investigating the incident, according to the release.
