A man was injured in a Wednesday night shooting at Hamilton Pointe Apartments at 6574 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga police say.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his right leg, according to a news release.
The victim told police he was in a verbal argument with the suspect before being shot.
Police have not publicly identified a suspect.
