A multiple-vehicle crash at mile marker 166 on Interstate 24 in Marion County has closed the highway in both directions near the Georgia state line, according to Tennessee Department of Transportation's SmartWay Traffic map.
The crash happened at 7:09 a.m. CST and is expected to be cleared by 9 a.m. CST, TDOT officials said. Eastbound and westbound lanes are blocked.
