A 21-year-old McMinn County, Tennessee, man is being sought on an indictment accusing him of shooting two donkeys at a local farm last spring.

Colby J. Eaton is charged with two counts of cruelty to livestock related to the discovery of the donkey's bodies at a farm on County Road 700 on May 5, 2018, according to an alert posted on McMinn County Sheriff Joe Guy's Facebook page.

The sheriff's office is seeing the public's help in locating Eaton, Guy said.

"Several attempts have been made to allow Eaton to turn himself in, but have gone unheeded," Guy said.

Eaton is described as white, 6 feet tall with brown hair and eyes.

He may be living in the area of No Pone Road in Bradley County or could also be in Meigs County, Guy said.

Anyone with information on Eaton's whereabouts should call the McMinn Co Sheriff's Office at 423-775-5622.
