A man was arrested Saturday in connection to a Jan. 16 carjacking in Chattanooga, court records show.

Police were called to the 4100 block of Fagan Street just after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday to investigate a carjacking.

Two victims told police that two men, one of whom was allegedly 18-year-old Brandon Cannon, approached them brandishing firearms and demanding money.

The two suspects searched the victims' pockets while pointing firearms at them. They took about $330, their shoes, a cell phone and the keys to one of the victim's car, a 2015 silver Dodge Charger.

Both suspects fled the scene in the vehicle.

So far, only Cannon has been identified as a suspect and has been arrested.

He is charged with aggravated robbery, carjacking, possession of ecstasy for resale and possession of meth. He also faces several firearm charges, including possessing a firearm with intent to go armed and during the commission of a dangerous felony, as well as possession of a handgun while under the influence.

Police have not released any information on the second suspect.
