A 60-year-old woman was found unresponsive with critical injuries Wednesday night in the 100 block of Willie Way after police responded to a report of a person shot, according to a news release.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. She was suffering from multiple stab wounds, but medical personnel is still working to determine if she was shot.
Officials identified a suspect and obtained a warrant for attempted first degree murder.
The suspect, 35-year-old Joanna Alder, was located and taken into custody in Morgan County, Tenn.
The victim has not been identified yet.
