A woman was injured in an shooting on the 1200 block of Glenwood Drive early Friday morning, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
The 21-year-old victim told police she was driving when someone in a vehicle pulled up beside her and began shooting while she was stopped at a stop sign.
Officers had been in the area of Wilcox and North Chamberlain Avenue when they heard gunshots at around 12:52 a.m., the release states.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
