A fugitive the FBI says has been on the run for three years was captured Tuesday evening in Sequatchie County, Tennessee, officials said in a statement.

Vincent Garner, 53, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and FBI agents from Chattanooga, Knoxville and Tullahoma at a mobile home in rural Sequatchie County, officials said. Garner was indicted by a federal grand jury in Chattanooga on drug and gun charges in 2016.

Garner was booked at the FBI office in Chattanooga and transported to a local jail until his initial appearance and arraignment in federal court on the charges later this week.
