A 30-year-old Cullman, Alabama, man is recovering from injuries he sustained in a hit-and-run accident early Saturday on Cullman County Road 469 in the area of the "Rock the South," event.
The driver fled after the single vehicle collision with a pedestrian identified on Sunday only as a white male who was reported to be in stable condition at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. State troopers are working with Cullman County Sheriff's Office investigators to identify the vehicle and driver.
