9-year-old Chattanooga boy injured in shooting

UPDATE: Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting.

ORIGINAL STORY: Chattanooga police are investigating after a 9-year-old boy was shot.

Responding to a call just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, police arrived at a local hospital and learned the boy had showed up earlier with a gunshot injury.

Police searched several locations but were unable to locate a crime scene. Suspect information is also not known.

Investigators have notified Child Protective Services and the investigation into the situation is ongoing.
