This view west toward Booker T. Washington State Park reveals the fishing piers on Chickamauga Lake.The whole family is welcome to wet a line Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Booker T. Washington State Park's fishing pier.
The free event is open to all ages and a fishing license is not required during the event, organizers said in a press release.
Food will be available until it runs out, organizers said.
The park is located at 5801 Champion Road. Once through the park entrance, follow the signs to get to the fishing pier area.
