Chattanooga police are investigating after a man was shot Wednesday night in Brainerd.
The incident happened around 6:39 p.m. in the 3300 block of Through Street, according to a news release.
The 25-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police spokeswoman Elisa Myzal said. The man's condition is not known at this time.
The victim told police he was in the front yard when he was shot by an unknown person, the release states.
