Air conditioning problems are affecting parts of Cleveland High School forcing officials to dismiss classes for students on Wednesday at 11:20 a.m., according to a news release.

Breakfast will be served but lunch will not, officials said. Employees at Cleveland High are to work their normal hours.

Buses will run routes for all afternoon bus riders and the system's operations department is working to solve the air conditioning issues, officials said.

"[B]ut Wednesday's predicted high of 96 degrees is too warm to conduct classes during the afternoon hours in the affected classrooms," officials state in the release.

All other schools in the Cleveland City Schools system will operate on a regular schedule on Wednesday.

Students should check with coaches and club sponsors regarding any after school activities, officials said.
