A juvenile in Cherokee County, Alabama, on Friday was charged with murder in the shooting death of a woman found dead at a resident with an apparent gunshot wound.
Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver said in a news release that the juvenile was taken into custody Friday afternoon.
Shaver said deputies found the woman after they got to a residence on County Road 19 just after 11 a.m. CDT on Friday.
The victim was not named and there was no further information.
