NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A financial firm plans to create 200 more jobs than first announced in relocating its global headquarters from New York to Nashville, state economic development officials said Tuesday.

AllianceBernstein plans to invest another $11.4 million in Nashville and fill 200 various additional tech, operations and compliance jobs. That brings the company's total planned investment in Nashville to more than $80 million, according to the state Department of Economic and Community Development.

The company announced plans in May 2018 to relocate and bring 1,050 jobs. The company plans to move into its permanent downtown Nashville headquarters by the end of 2020.

In 2018, state officials approved $17.5 million in financial incentives for AllianceBernstein. The firm has about $623 billion in assets under management, nearly 3,800 employees and offices in 25 countries.
