CAMDEN, Tenn. (AP) -- A Tennessee couple found dead in their home had been killed by their granddaughter, authorities said.

Katelyn Taylor, 28, was charged Monday with two counts of criminal homicide and booked into the Benton County Jail, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations said in a news release. Her bond was set at $500,000.

Officers found Taylor's grandparents dead inside their Camden home during a welfare check on Monday morning. They were identified as 82-year-old Eugene McDaniel and 67-year-old Celeste McDaniel.

Investigators did not immediately release additional details about how they died.

The Jackson Sun reported officers went to the couple's home after a caller said a resident of the house had not shown up for work, which they said was unusual. When officers arrived, all of the house doors were locked and vehicles were parked in the garage.

TBI agents joined the investigation into the double homicide in Camden at the request of Matt Stowe, the Attorney General for the 24th district in Tennessee.
