MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A body found in Alabama's Montgomery County over the weekend has been identified as that of a man reported missing in July.

Jimmie Lee Table, 56, disappeared July 25. He was last seen leaving his home in Lee County's Beauregard community and was never heard from or seen again, al.com reported.

Two days later, his white 1999 GMC Yukon was found abandoned near Montgomery.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Capt. Joshua Douglass on Tuesday said Table's remains were discovered about 12:30 p.m. Sunday after authorities received a call of a body near Highway 80 east and Highway 293 in east Montgomery County. That area is several miles from where the abandoned Yukon was recovered.

Authorities have not released a cause of death.
