Hilton Worldwide has awarded the Hilton Garden Inn Chattanooga Downtown front desk associates with the "Spirit of the Garden" award.
The award is a national honor given to Hilton team members who demonstrate outstanding professionalism in making a positive impact on their guests, their colleagues and the community.
Recognized were hotel guest service manager Nic Powell and front desk associates Rachel Connolly, Kurt McKibben, Ashley Espey, Ben Montgomery and Leslie Watkins.
They were cited for giving a personalized card and flowers to a patron who was looking for a temporary home while her husband was in Erlanger hospital's intensive care unit.
Mitch Patel, chief executive of hotel parent Vision Hospitality Group, recognized the associates at a special luncheon.
