Dupont Community Credit Union is changing its name to Scenic Community Credit UnionA trio of Chattanooga area credit unions have been named to the Top 200 Healthiest Credit Unions in America list, according to DepositAccounts.com.
Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union was No. 29, Ascend Federal Credit Union was No. 101, while the Scenic Community Credit Union, formerly the DuPont Community Credit Union, was listed at No. 176.
Sterling Federal Credit Union in Sterling, Colo., topped the list.
Each institution was graded on a number of factors, including capitalization, deposit growth, and loan to reserve ratios in order to determine a comprehensive health score.
