Sticky Fingers restaurants on Friday offered police officers free meals in the wake of the shooting deaths of five members of law enforcement in Dallas, Texas.
"Our thoughts are with the fallen officers," the restaurant chain said.
The five police officers were killed and seven others wounded Thursday night when sniper fire turned a peaceful protest over recent police shootings into a crime scene. The gunman was killed when police detonated a bomb-equipped robot.
It was the deadliest single day for law enforcement officers since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
