Despite the public backlash against United Airlines over its recent forced removal of one of its passengers, the nation's airlines overall still did a better job of making customers happy this past year, according to a new study.
The industry scored 75 out of 100 points, a 4 percent increase, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index. The top rated airlines by customers were:
1. Jet Blue - scored 82
2. Southwest - scored 80
3. Alaska Airlines - scored 78
4. American Airlines - scored 76
4. Delta Airlines - scored 76
