A 4-story building that has anchored the north shore of the Market Street bridge for the past 90 years has a new owner five years after the 17,083-square-foot structure was revamped.

A California real estate investment group has purchased the Nautilus building at 60 North Market Street for $2.55 million. The existing tenants of the landmark structure, which include eight apartments and four retailers - Locals Only, L2 Outside, Lepark Nail Salon and Renew All Things - will remain in the facility under the new owners.

Jonathan Campbell of Keller Williams Realty, who handled the property sale, said the use of the building will continue as is after the previous owners gutted and renovated much of the structure. The former owners, RCB Real Estate LLC in Ooltewah, bought the building in 2012 for $1.1 million.

The Nautilus building was erected in 1929 and was initially listed for sale for nearly $2.7 million last year.
